Project Status

• When everything is coming your way, you're in the wrong lane!

• You are the driver of a fast racecar, and you want to get to your destination quickly!
• Thus, you are speeding down the highway much faster than other cars.
• Your challenge is to dodge oncoming traffic and make it as far as possible.

• As of the alpha, you can select the desired speed (0-10) to go down the highway.
• In the future, you will only be able to select the difficulty, and the speed will advance accordingly.
• Speed 1-9 are playable (speed 9 with quite some concentration..)
• Speed 10 is just for fun. It's way too fast...

• For the future of the game there are a few things planned.
• I will gradually implement those, depending on my time.
• My ideas: abilities (respawn, rockets to kill the car in front,..), fuel, sound effects and music.
• I am open for feedback and ideas!
  

• The game greets you with a start menu, which will be getting more options in the future.
• As of now, you may select a given game speed (values 00-10).
• Once START is selected, you will be gaining control of the racecar.
• Upon hitting an object, the game is over, and you will get the option to retry or go back to the start menu - e.g., to select a slower speed ;-)

• Now to the controls:

• As of the alpha release, input is limited to the buttons on controller 1
• Don't worry, joystick support is planned!

• Driving controls:

• Pressing button 2/3 once, initiates a single lane change (2=left, 3=right)
• Pressing button 2/3 while executing a lane change won't have any effect
• Buttons 1 and 4 are currently unused

• Menu controls:

• Like changing lanes, buttons 2 and 3 will let you navigate through the menu
• To select an option, press button 4
• Once an option with a user input value is selected, used button 2/3 to alternate all possible values
• To save the input, press button 4 again
• Button 1 is unused
